Chao’s clothes are held together with intention. We use French seams on the inside of every garment, a finish that’s typically reserved for couture or luxury tailoring.

At Chao, each piece is engineered with roomy refinement: structured shoulders that carry the look, darted seams that hold the body just right, and volumes that move with you, not against you.

Meghna’s journey to founding this brand was anything but conventional. With a background in the development sector and experience working across Asia and Africa, she gained a unique perspective on entrepreneurship challenges and resilience. This sparked her curiosity to explore a new path—fashion. Experiencing changes in her own body, she realized how clothing shapes confidence and emotions. This inspired her to create a brand that evolves with its wearer, offering comfort, style, and self-acceptance.
